Release Week Blitz/Excerpt/Giveaway: No-Where But Here By Katie McGarry

An unforgettable new series from acclaimed author Katie McGarry about taking risks, opening your heart and ending up in a place you never imagined possible
Seventeen-year-old Emily likes her life the way it is: doting parents, good friends, good school in a safe neighborhood. Sure, she's curious about her biological father—the one who chose life in a motorcycle club, the Reign of Terror, over being a parent—but that doesn't mean she wants to be a part of his world. But when a reluctant visit turns to an extended summer vacation among relatives she never knew she had, one thing becomes clear: nothing is what it seems. Not the club, not her secret-keeping father and not Oz, a guy with suck-me-in blue eyes who can help her understand them both.
Oz wants one thing: to join the Reign of Terror. They're the good guys. They protect people. They're…family. And while Emily—the gorgeous and sheltered daughter of the club's most respected member—is in town, he's gonna prove it to her. So when her father asks him to keep her safe from a rival club with a score to settle, Oz knows it's his shot at his dream. What he doesn't count on is that Emily just might turn that dream upside down.
No one wants them to be together. But sometimes the right person is the one you least expect, and the road you fear the most is the one that leads you home.

From Oz's Point of View. Set up: Emily has been separated from her parents and after a long night of worrying, her emotions and exhaustion catch up to her and it causes Oz to have his first fluttering of emotion for Emily.

WIND BLOWS IN FROM THE NORTH AND A FEW pieces of Emily’s dark hair sweep across her face. One minute Emily’s a bright flame, then a gust snuffs out her light. Her body sways like a top at the tail end of a spin and I lunge forward.
Emily’s knees give out and her eyes roll back into her head. I catch her inches before she crashes onto the porch. She’s light as I swing her into my arms and her head circles onto my shoulder, reminding me of one of those rag dolls Violet used to play with when we were kids.
“Emily!” Eli’s on top of me, attempting to yank her out of my arms. “Open your eyes.”
Her eyelids flutter, but remain closed as her hand limply clutches my shirt. Eli rams his arms underneath mine and he makes Emily a rope in a tug-of-war. I should let her go. I should want to let her go, but then Emily goes and screws it up for me. “Oz.”
It was a damn whisper, but I heard my name on her lips and so did Eli. His eyes flash to mine and Cyrus’s words repeat in my mind. That girl trusts you. And screw us both for that.
“She’s exhausted,” I say. “Hasn’t slept at all tonight.”
Eli’s expression hardens as he glares at me. I’ve seen Eli throw a coma-inducing punch for less defiance and I readjust the sleeping girl in my arms. A reminder if he decks me now, he’ll be putting his daughter at risk.
Temporarily surrendering, Eli cups Emily’s face in his hands and angles her toward him. “Emily, please open your eyes.”
She does. It’s barely a crack and they’re completely glazed.
“Everything’s going to be okay,” Eli affirms.
“I want my mom and dad,” she mumbles.
“You’ll see them tomorrow.” Eli pushes a strand of hair from her cheek. “You’re safe here. I promise.”
She rejects Eli by curling into me. Her head fits perfectly in the crook of my neck and I loathe the wave of protectiveness that rumbles through my body. Emily’s fingers tighten their grip near my shoulders and the impulse is to shield her from the guys gawking at this intimate scene. Yeah, this is club business, butEmily never asked for any of this.

My Review

4 Stars!

Well..I did not see this coming!!

I was supposed to wait a while before I read this one because I knew the ending would make me want more but as soon as it landed in my kindle I dropped my current read and jumped on it.You can tell how patient I am but I don't regret it!

This is episode 3 of a 5 part serial and it one carries on from where we left off which was a cliffhanger.I'm not sure how I feel about Hayden I was quite skeptical of her and by the ending I still don't like her. I need to know more about Derek and Hayden's past because there are so many pieces missing and we still don't know what happened with Randy and why they are trying to destroy him. What we find out about Frankie at the end and omg Reed how I want to kill him. I really wasn't expecting anything like this, I need moree and I really don't want it to be all ruined.

This book was Derek and Frankie exploring each other, finding out that they care and what they have is much more than lust. They both want more and Frankie is trying to find her own role in this confusing relationship they have going on and making Derek work for it.She challenges him and he craves more.

I'm scared about what will happen with them and ahh I need more!

Review/ Giveaway: Finding Stone (Stone Brothers #1) by T. Saint John

Molly Madden has always been looking for something more. Growing up in a small town, she never quite fit in. She didn’t fit the preacher's daughter mold. Now at twenty-four, she has graduated from nursing school and has found a job far away from her small town. Chicago. Something was leading her there. Her excitement turns to lust, the to fear, and the shock of her life. This wasn’t a part of her plan. She never planned on Noah Stone...he just happened.

Noah Stone has returned to Chicago, after his six year serving as an Army Doctor. His only family lives here, his two brothers that he would do anything for. At thirty-five, he doesn't need anyone else. One and done is good enough for him. His past made sure he was incapable of love. By chance and circumstance, a young, smart-mouthed nurse keeps showing up in his life. Slowly, Noah realizes that he's changing. Changing the way he is thinking, the way he is acting. As much as he tries to fight it, he realizes he can’t fight the fate that keeps bringing them together.

My Review

4.5 Stars!

So after going through quite a few books I could not connect with I just needed something quite straight forward, something that would grip me from the start and I just wouldn't want to stop reading until it is finished and then I would feel sad that it's over and crave more. This book was all that and more. It's just what I needed at the time and it got me out of my book funk.

T.Saint John has done a great job on her debut novel. This is book one in the Stone Brother Series and I'm intrigued, I wonder how the other books will be like and how the story of the other brothers will unfold.

I read a small excerpt and I needed this book, I'm so glad it didn't disappoint. This book has a bit of everything from action, humour, romance and much more.If you love an alpha male you will love Noah!
This book is written in dual povs which I love since I love getting an insight to both main characters. I enjoy being able to see both characters side and what they are going through instead of it being one sided. I'm looking forward to seeing what will happen with Maddox and Evan as this series continues and also any other books this author writes! Can I have the next book Pleasseee TSJ? I shall be your best friend forever ;)

Definitely an author I shall be stalking! :D
